Marcus & Kaitlyn’s Winter Engagement | Marshfield, WI | KluzB Photography

This session, right here, is the number one reason I love engagement sessions and think they are one of the most important. I have talked about this before, but I can’t stress it enough so bare with me. An engagement session is a relaxed time where we walk around and I get to know you as a couple. I get to learn all the fun things like how you act together, how you make each other laugh and smile and we create a bond. This bond then carries on into the wedding day, which in the end makes everything run a bit more seamless. It also is the best time for the couple to learn about me and how I work. So how does this apply to Kaitlyn and Marcus?

Well yesterday was an icky day. I know that Kaitlyn and I went back and forth on do we do the session, do we wait… we just were not sure. But in the end we choose to go with it. Now, they had had a few images done by a family member in the summer which I actually dont mind at all. One can never have enough images in my mind. But when I met with Kaitlyn a few months back I did express why I think that they are so important to do an engagement session with your wedding photographer, and they agreed!

In this time we had together I learned that they are super light hearted. They didn’t need much or any direction at all during their session, and I was able to capture so many raw candid moments. I learned that we can easily all laugh together and that their wedding day is going to be an absolute blast. The love that they have for each other is strong and overflows into these images right here. It was just so much fun and I’m beyond excited to share my favorites with you all!

So do I love engagement sessions? YES! They are some of my favorite!!

Thank you Marcus and Kaitlyn for allowing me to come to your land, scope out where the wedding is going to be held, and laugh lots with you guys. I am so excited for the wedding this summer!! But for now, enjoy your sneak peek, and we must go for a fish fry soon.
