I typically don’t post any personal blogs. But its my goal to start to share a little of the behind the scenes of what goes on in my life… besides weddings, families and babies!
A few weeks ago, Nic and I celebrated out 4th wedding anniversary. A few days later, our dear friends celebrated their 3rd. Cara and Jr are two that I am sure you have seen on my blog before! They are friends of Nic’s from high school. I have known then both now for a few years and have had the honor of capturing so many special moments for them. Cara has become such a dear friend to me, and going through the ups and downs of life and motherhood with someone like her is priceless. Not to mention she is my partner in crime when it comes to wine nights. 🙂
So when we chatted about how to spend our anniversaries we decided that we would all take a trip to Door County together. Well, little did they know what they were in for! Just about every time that Nic and I have gone to Door County it has rained. And not just a little sprinkle here and there, but really rained. So about a week before our trip, when we saw the rain forecasted we could not believe it. Yet, a little bad weather was going going to get us down… and it only rained all night Friday and all day Saturday. 😉 (Plus I got the Flu right before left) Still, we had a great time driving around, exploring some great places and enjoyed a few drinks together.
Her are some fun places we went..
Disclaimer ** Some photos are from my phone! After all… its about the journey? Right?

Thanks Cara and Jr for spending your anniversary with us. Not sure Nic and I will do Door County again in the fall, but we had a wonderful time with you both. Thank you for being amazing friends and creating memories with us.
xoxo
