Saturday was a wedding that I was actually really nervous about. Normally I always have the butterflies before a wedding, and I always say that once I don’t, it means that I don’t care as much and need to find a new job. But this past weekend I had more than just butterflies. The biggest reason for this was Mr. Olson. You see, Brent is a cop for the wausau police department and he can be very… how to say it nicely… intense. 🙂 (he knows this is coming so I am now giggling as I write this). He is one of the most involved grooms that I have ever had out of the 100+ weddings that I have been apart of. He knew EXACTLY what he wanted, how everything was going to go and there was NO talking him out of his choices. So when I arrived to Willow Springs on Saturday, I knew that I was going to have to just go with the flow and just roll with the day.
WELL… Can I just say that I could write a book about the comments, laughs, giggles, tears and just the amount of FUN that we had. Minus the… “Oh Brittany, You know how much I LOVE Photos” comment, or “really… again?”, how about the eye rolling. I did know though this entire time that Jordyn had my back and was all about taking another moment to get a few more images, or making her hubby take his sunglasses off. Eventually, Brent and I were just tossing the comments back and forth to each other and just laughing the entire time. It actually became a joke and I will say that I won’t be able to edit some of their photos without out loud laughing at my computer. They really were just the best.
Let me just say though.. if I had not done an engagement session for these two.. I would have never had known this about Brent and would probably have been that quiet person behind the camera not saying a word. So because of that COLD winter valentines session that we had together.. I knew I could dish it back to him without making him too upset, all while creating some great laughs and additional fun moments.
Anyway… as I wrap this up so Brent can finally just view these photos (if he even is reading this) it was the most amazing day. Jordyn is the sweetest and kind person with the most beautiful smile. The weather was fantastic, gorgeous venue, their bridal party laughed along with us and there really were just so many great moments that I had the honor of capturing. I just love these two and hope to be able to (sorry Brent) yes, take more photos of them in the future as they grow as husband and wife!
Congratulations to you both. You two are beyond adorable… Or Jordyn… you are! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your fantastic day!
xoxox, Brittany
