No one really ever understands what a woman goes through when she is in labor. Not until you yourself have gone through it. I never realized how much emotion, love, excitement, nerves and strength happen on the day you deliver a child. This includes time; time goes faster than one can ever imagine when your welcoming your new child into the world. It was 5 months ago for me that I realized all of this. Its truly one of the best days in a mom’s life which is why I am wanting to try a little something new. I want to be able to capture all of this for moms and dads out there that want to remember this life-changing event as it happens. Allowing me to capture these moments for you, gives you opportunity to enjoy this time without a camera in your own hands.
One of my most special bride and grooms from last year allowed me to do just this for them last week. It was over a year ago that Stephanie and Chris said “I DO” on the most perfect day in Eau Claire, WI. I was beyond excited for them when I heard they were expecting a little boy. It was even more exciting for me when they agreed to allow me into the delivery room with them to document yet another one of their life-changing events. The birth of their son was beyond special, beautiful and precious.
Birth photography is not for everyone, I totally understand that. But if you are at all thinking that you might want the birth of your child documented, please contact me. There are so many different options that I could offer; I would not want to miss out on documenting one of the most special days of your life because you just were not sure. One that you can never go back and re-do. I am taking a very limited amount of bookings as my weddings are still one of my top priorities, but I do have several months that are open so please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.
